  Trinity River Near Long Lake (Oakwood) affecting Anderson, Leon
  and Freestone Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Long Lake (Oakwood).

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, minor flooding of the Coffield Prison
  agricultural land, and ranch and farm lands along the river, is
  expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 37.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Sunday morning and continue falling to 31.3 feet
    Wednesday evening.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...

  Neches River Near Neches affecting Cherokee, Houston and Anderson
  Counties.

For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued Saturday evening at 915 PM CDT.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Neches.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding.  Move livestock
  and equipment to higher ground away from the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:30 PM CDT Friday was 13.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.5
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Expect moderate to severe flooding of the
  heavily wooded floodplain. Boat ramps and picnic areas will be
  completely inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 16.4 feet
    Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
